Yoon Byung Ho, known as Bully Da Bastard, a contestant from Mnet’s High School Rapper 2, is facing further legal troubles after being caught using drugs while in detention. This incident comes as he is already on trial for prior drug-related offenses.

Legal sources revealed that Judge Jeong Jae Wook of the Suwon District Court, on October 25, sentenced Yoon to eight months in prison, suspended for two years. He was also ordered to complete 40 hours of drug rehabilitation education for violating South Korea’s Narcotics Control Act, specifically concerning psychotropic substances.

However, the judge also considered mitigating factors, noting, “We must weigh fairness in sentencing as this case is evaluated alongside the defendant’s previous convictions. Additionally, he had no prior offenses for similar charges at the time of this incident.”

Yoon was previously charged with using psychotropic drugs, including diazepam, lorazepam, and zolpidem, at the Incheon Detention Center from August 17 to 26, 2022, by unknown means.

Yoon denied the allegations, claiming he was a victim of a spiking incident where someone secretly administered the drugs to him. However, the court dismissed his defense.

The court provided reasons for its ruling, including “the unlikelihood of someone secretly administering unprescribed drugs to the defendant, as well as the lack of alternative explanations for the presence of psychotropic substances in his urine.”

Yoon Byung Ho had previously been indicted for purchasing, possessing, and using various drugs, including marijuana, fentanyl, and methamphetamine, from January 2018 to July 2022. In December of 2023, he was sentenced to seven years in prison for these offenses and is currently serving his sentence.
