South Korean rapper Noel (real name Jang Yong Jun) has shared an update on his current status following the recent death of his father.
On Wednesday, he updated fans with a selfie on social media. In the photo, Noel is seen staring at the camera with a neutral expression and no caption, conveying a stoic demeanor.

The post is interpreted as a sign of his intention to overcome his recent personal sorrow and return to his professional activities.
On Tuesday, Noel also shared several photos with the brief caption, “After I get back from Hong Kong, I’ll come see you again.”
The images included the phrase “I think of you every day,” hinting at his emotional state. Fans have shown a range of reactions to the posts, expressing support for his return.
Noel’s father, former National Assembly member Jang Je Won, was found dead on March 31 in an officetel in Gangdong-gu, Seoul.
Jang had previously been accused of sexually assaulting his secretary during his time as vice president of a university in Busan. A press conference by the accuser was scheduled but was canceled following his death.
The funeral was held at Haeundae Paik Hospital in Busan, where Noel remained as the chief mourner at the wake.
