Super Junior past and present members all attended Ryeowook’s wedding.
On May 26, Ryeowook held a private wedding ceremony with former Tahiti member Ari at a wedding hall in Seoul.
Amidst the attendance of many stars at the couple’s wedding, both past and present Super Junior members gathered, drawing the attention of fans.
According to the publicized photos, current Super Junior members Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, and Kyuhyun gathered to congratulate Ryeowook on his marriage.
In addition, Sungmin, who is temporarily on hiatus, Kangin, Hankyung, and Kibum who have left the group, and Super Junior-M members Zhou Mi and Henry also joined, creating a scene where all 15 members were gathered in one place.
They struck the official Super Junior pose, showcasing a cheerful atmosphere. Not only did the current 9 members take group photos, but they also took separate photos with all 13 members and even all 15 members.
The members congratulated Ryeowook’s wedding by singing “Sorry, Sorry” as a wedding song.
Meanwhile, it was announced earlier this year in March that Ryeowook and Ari, who began publicly dating in 2020, would be getting married.
At the time, Ryeowook wrote in a handwritten letter, “I have some news that I want to deliver directly to our ELF, my dearest friends, who have always supported me with all their might. It’s both nerve-wracking and cautious to convey this news first. As you know, I have a girlfriend. I’ve developed a desire to become a family with her. This is not a sudden decision, but one that I have been considering for a long time. After lengthy discussions with the members and company, we decided to have a wedding at the end of this spring in May.”
Ari also said last May, “I plan to become a family with someone I have been with for a long time. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported and understood us, and given us courage. At the same time, I am sorry for those who might be hurt by our decision. We will be careful to protect our family and considerate to everyone, and live well without causing any concerns.”
