Marvel’s superhero film Spider-Man 4, starring Hollywood sensation Tom Holland, has officially set its release date.
Variety reported that Spider-Man 4, starring Tom Holland, will be released on July 24, 2026.
According to the report, Spider-Man 4, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who also directed Shang-Chi, will be released shortly after Avengers: Doomsday (May 1, 2026), in which Robert Downey Jr. will appear as the supervillain Doctor Doom.
The media outlet explained that Spider-Man: Far From Home was also released two months after Avengers: Endgame and grossed over $1 billion worldwide.
Holland recently appeared on NBC’s popular program The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he mentioned that Spider-Man 4 will begin filming next summer.

In an interview with The Rich Roll Podcast, he also stated, “I read the script for ‘Spider-Man 4,’ and it needs work, but the writers are doing a great job.”
“Zendaya and I sat down and read it together, and we, at times, were bouncing around the living room like this is a real movie worthy of the fans’ respect,” he added.
On ABC’s Good Morning America, he commented that the concept is wild and slightly different from what they’ve done.
However, it has not yet been confirmed whether Zendaya, Holland’s girlfriend and the actress well-known for her role as MJ in the Spider-Man series, will return to play the same character.
In Spider-Man: No Way Home, released in 2021, Spider-Man’s girlfriend MJ (played by Zendaya) and his best friend Ned (played by Jacob Batalon) had their memories erased. The upcoming Spider-Man 4 is expected to start from this dilemma.
A Marvel insider, mytimetoshine, reported, “There is a new contract between Marvel and Sony. Tom Holland is set to appear in a total of six more films, including three solo Spider-Man films (4 to 6).
