Jung Woo Sung has now been confirmed as the biological father of Moon Ga Bi’s child, which has taken many by surprise, especially after a fan seemingly predicted the news.
On Sunday, Jung Woo Sung’s agency, Artist Company, officially confirmed the news, saying, “The child that Moon Ga Bi shared on social media is indeed Jung Woo Sung’s biological son,” adding, “As a father, Jung Woo Sung will take full responsibility for raising the child.”
The couple reportedly grew close in 2022, and it was revealed that Moon Ga Bi became pregnant in June 2023. When he finds out, Jung Woo Sung expresses his happiness and promises to take full responsibility for the child, even though they are not engaged or married then.
In November, rumors of a romantic relationship between Jung Woo Sung and actress Shin Hyun Bin, his co-star from the Genie TV drama Tell Me That You Love Me, started circulating.
Some speculated about their relationship, pointing to the fact that the two had been seen wearing matching items and that Shin Hyun Bin had visited Jung Woo Sung’s favorite wine bar.
However, both agencies quickly shot down the rumors. A representative from Artist Company called them “completely unfounded,” and Shin Hyun Bin’s agency, Yooborn Company, echoed the sentiment, calling the rumors “baseless” and a “trivial incident.”
Amid the romance rumors, a comment on one of Jung Woo Sung’s Instagram posts about his pregnancy seemed to predict the baby news—and it’s been causing quite a stir online.
The comment, posted on November 18, read, “I hope the pregnancy news gets reported soon,” as if the commenter knew about the announcement. Just a week before the official confirmation of Jung Woo Sung being the father, this comment was left by a fan who seemed to predict the big reveal.
This sparked a wave of astonished reactions from fans. Many left replies like “I came for the prophecy” and “How did you know this?” as they marveled at the coincidence.
As of now, the comment has gained over 1,000 likes. Replies like “I came for this,” “Prophet…” and “I’m going to pray for my lottery win next week” have quickly gained traction, and the comment has gone viral, reigniting the conversation.
On Friday, Moon Ga Bi shared a heartwarming Instagram post, revealing her son to the world for the first time with a photo of herself holding him in her arms.
In the post, she wrote: “Now, as a mother, I’ve gathered the courage to live a slightly more ordinary and happy life.” She went on, “I wasn’t prepared for the sudden news, and instead of fully embracing the joy of pregnancy or the congratulations, I spent most of my pregnancy quietly, surrounded by the blessings of my family. I focused solely on the child I would bring into the world.”
She continued, “I’ve always believed that to protect something precious, I needed to keep it hidden tightly.” Reflecting on her journey, Moon Ga Bi shared, “As I continue with my life, I’ll meet many people and be asked many questions. But by sharing my story now, I feel a bit lighter in my heart. I will continue walking step by step with this little one who has gifted me a new world, just as I have until now.”
