BTS’s Jungkook has set social media buzzing worldwide with the surprise launch of his personal YouTube channel.

On Sunday, Jungkook teased the channel’s debut by sharing a link via his pet dog’s Instagram account, Bowwow_bam. The post featured the phrase, “Have a good Bam, just made it for now,” suggesting the channel may focus on his beloved pet, Bam. The announcement quickly ignited excitement among his global fanbase.

Despite lacking an official pre-launch announcement, Jungkook’s new channel proved just how powerful his influence is. In an incredible demonstration of his reach, the channel racked up 100,000 subscribers within just two hours of going live, meeting YouTube’s Silver Play Button threshold in record time.

Within five hours, the channel surpassed 200,000 subscribers; by 10 AM on Monday, it had soared past 420,000. This explosive growth in subscriber numbers, even without any content uploaded, clearly indicates the immense global interest in Jungkook.

Jungkook’s social media influence isn’t new. In April, he launched an Instagram account for his pet dog, Bowwow_bam, and the account immediately broke records. It hit 1 million followers just 4 hours after launching. Within 7 hours, the follower count climbed to 2 million; by 17 hours, it had surpassed 3 million — a rapid pace of growth that continued throughout the day.

Each post on Bowwow_bam garnered more than 2 million likes within 24 hours, further showcasing Jungkook’s massive social media presence.

His reach extends well beyond just fan interactions; Jungkook also uses pet-related platforms to connect with his fans in unique and meaningful ways.

With his YouTube channel now live, fans worldwide eagerly await what content Jungkook will share next.
