K-Pop Legends 2NE1 Make Epic Comeback at 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon

The 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon has finalized its star-studded lineup, announcing its third wave of artists.

On Monday, SBS revealed the third batch of performers for the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon, which will take place on December 25 at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, South Korea.

The latest lineup features the legendary K-pop girl group 2NE1, who are making their highly anticipated return to the Gayo Daejeon stage for the first time in 110 years, having last appeared in 2014.

Joining 2NE1 in the third wave are (G)I-DLE, WayV, Lee Young Ji, CRAVITY, TREASURE, BABYMONSTER, NEXZ, and IZNA, bringing the total number of groups in this lineup to nine.

Earlier, the first wave of artists announced included some of K-pop’s biggest names: NCT DREAM, Stray Kids, ITZY, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, IVE, NewJeans, ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, TWS, and NCT WISH.

The second wave saw the addition of KEY, NCT 127, ATEEZ, aespa, NMIXX, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, BOYNEXTDOOR, and ILLIT to the lineup.

MCs Bring the Chemistry to the Stage

The MC lineup, featuring Doyoung from NCT, Yeonjun from TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and Ahn Yujin from IVE, is also drawing attention.

The trio, who received rave reviews for their chemistry as hosts during last summer’s Gayo Daejeon, will reunite to MC the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon this Christmas.

This marks their second time hosting together, and fans can expect even more polished performances and even stronger chemistry between the three.

Meanwhile, the SBS Gayo Daejeon has solidified its place as the largest K-pop Christmas festival. Held annually during the holiday season, it showcases the top K-pop artists worldwide.

With an unprecedented lineup this year, the 2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon has generated tremendous excitement and anticipation from global fans. All eyes will be on the event to see what legendary performances will unfold.
