Dating rumors have surfaced involving Winter, a K-pop girl group aespa member, and Jungwon, the leader of the boy group ENHYPEN.
On Wednesday, a post on X (formerly Twitter) sparked the rumors, with the user tagging both Winter and Jungwon and writing, “With the year-end coming up, they probably have a lot of the same schedules.”
The post included photos showing a woman wearing a hat and mask and a man in a black hoodie and hat, spotted together at a cocktail bar in Cheongdam-dong, a fashionable district in Seoul.
The user claimed, “Even if this is Winter, is it okay? Karina wore the same outfit as during her video call and looked at what had happened (referring to the dating rumors with actor Lee Jae Wook). Shouldn’t she have worn the outfit from the challenge?” The user then suggested that the woman in the photos was Winter.
The user further claimed, “Winter got into a taxi first, and then Yang Jungwon followed,” implying that they were meeting privately.
The user also shared a short video showing the man in the photos on a phone call, adding that the man’s voice sounded like Jungwon’s.
The Post Has Been Deleted, But the Buzz Continues
Though the post that sparked the dating rumors was deleted, it quickly went viral across social media platforms and online forums, igniting discussion among K-pop fans.
In response, many fans expressed skepticism, with some commenting, “The faces aren’t even clearly visible, so this is just speculation,” “Even if it’s true, what’s the problem with young people dating?” and “Let them date.”
Winter (real name Kim Min Jeong) is a member of aespa, one of K-pop’s most popular girl groups. Jungwon (real name Yang Jungwon) is the leader of ENHYPEN, a seven-member boy group under Belift Lab, which has gained international popularity since its debut.
