Christmas Eve morning has finally arrived, bringing holiday cheer to many.

The festive spirit is in full swing as people hustle to find the perfect gifts and decorate their trees.

But amidst all the holiday preparations, one TV announcer’s creative Christmas celebration has taken the internet by storm.

On Saturday, a post appeared on X with the caption “Announcer in Christmas Cosplay.” It included a clip from the December 21, 2020, broadcast of MBC’s Gangwon 365.

The video features the show’s host, announcer Kim Yong Seok. However, his co-host, announcer Kwak Myung Soo, is nowhere to be seen—replaced by a fully decorated Christmas tree beside Kim Yong Seok.

At first glance, the tree seems to be just part of the holiday set. But wait—this Christmas tree starts moving, waving at the camera, and even speaking. Surprise! It turns out to be Kwak Myung Soo in a hilarious disguise.

While most people might go for a Santa or reindeer costume, Kwak Myung Soo went above and beyond by fully embracing the holiday spirit—transforming himself into an entire Christmas tree.

Even four years later, this unexpected tree costume continues to bring laughter to viewers.

“The Christmas tree is talking!” exclaimed reporter Yoon Ji Hyun, to which Kim Yong Seok humorously replied, “Indeed! Who’s standing next to me?” Their playful exchange added to the comedic charm of the moment.

The clip quickly went viral across multiple online platforms, spreading joy long after its original airing.
