BTS member J-Hope is set to make his solo debut on NBC’s iconic late-night show, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. This highly anticipated appearance has fans buzzing with excitement.
On Monday, Jimmy Fallon teased J-Hope’s guest spot on Instagram, posting a playful video clip. The footage shows Fallon waking up to the sound of J-Hope’s voice in a dream sequence before heading to the rehearsal stage.
Adding a fun twist to the announcement, Fallon’s phone shows an email confirming J-Hope’s appearance on March 10.
Although J-Hope has appeared on The Tonight Show multiple times with his BTS bandmates, this will be his first solo performance on the popular talk show.
The K-pop star is scheduled to appear shortly after releasing his digital single “Sweet Dreams” this Friday, leaving fans eager to see what he’ll bring to his first solo stage performance.

J-Hope first showcased his solo potential with the release of his debut album Jack In The Box in June 2022, following BTS’s temporary break due to the members’ military service commitments.
In April 2023, J-Hope enlisted in the South Korean Army as a drill instructor at the 36th Infantry Division White Tiger Training Center in Wonju, Gangwon Province. Last March, he also released a special album titled Hop On The Street Volume 1.
In October, J-Hope became the second member of BTS to complete his military service, following the group’s oldest member, Jin.
Keeping his musical momentum strong, J-Hope recently collaborated with rapper Don Toliver on the track “LV Bag.”
Last month, J-Hope kicked off his first solo world tour, HOPE ON THE STAGE, at Seoul’s KSPO Dome, celebrating a major milestone 12 years into his career.
The three-day Seoul concerts drew 37,500 fans, setting an exciting tone for the tour. With upcoming stops in Japan, the United States, and beyond, J-Hope is ready to showcase his unique artistry to his global fanbase.
