Mixed martial artist Choo Sung Hoon has made headlines after giving BTS member J-Hope an expensive bracelet worth approximately $35,700.
Their special meeting was revealed in a recent video posted on the YouTube channel ChooSungHoon. In the video, J-Hope disguised himself as a crew member by wearing a hat and a black jacket and holding a cue sheet to surprise Choo Sung Hoon secretly.

When Choo arrived at the filming location, he said, “He’s someone who can’t even freely go to a convenience store. We’ll eat together and have something delicious,” unaware that J-Hope was nearby.
With the production team’s help, Choo finally spotted J-Hope and was so shocked that he dropped to the ground and even shed tears. When J-Hope greeted him with a cheerful “Surprise!” Choo responded emotionally, saying, “You hid well.”
A $35,700 Gesture of Loyalty
The two then headed to an omakase restaurant run by Choo’s sister to continue their conversation. When the crew showed interest in Choo’s bracelet, he casually said, “Should I just give it to you?” Without hesitation, he took one off his wrist and personally put it on J-Hope.
When the staff suggested he give one of his many bracelets to J-Hope, Choo remarked, “This one’s probably around $35,700,” and even asked J-Hope’s manager, “Is it okay if I give this?” When the manager cheerfully responded, “That would be great,” the room burst into laughter
J-Hope then jokingly revealed, “This was a hidden camera prank. I was curious how you’d react if I asked for it and you didn’t give it to me.” The comment left Choo Sung Hoon speechless.

Choo replied, “You can’t do that to a man. You give it, no hesitation. You have to give things like this.” Meanwhile, J-Hope made a playful gesture as if to turn it down, drawing attention.
Viewers who watched the video reacted with amusement and admiration, commenting, “J-Hope probably already has a few of those,” “So $35,700 is pocket change, huh?” “Can I have it instead?” “J-Hope looked genuinely flustered,” and “He probably has even more at home.”
