AKM’s Lee Suhyun recently shared an honest glimpse into her daily life, revealing that she now lives with her older brother and bandmate, Chanhyuk.

In a video released on May 15 through the YouTube channel Jung Yong Hwa’s LP Room, Suhyun sat down for a conversation with Jung Yong Hwa and talked openly about her living arrangement with her brother.

Recalling her first impression of Jung Yong Hwa, Suhyun said warmly, “I thought your eyes were very clear. I was at a point in my life when I really needed some positive energy. You felt really reassuring—like having a second big brother.”

Suhyun shared that it has been about a month since she started living with her brother Chanhyuk, and explained how her lifestyle has changed.

“Living with my brother has really straightened me out,” she said. “I wake up alone around 8 a.m., and by 11 p.m. I start getting sleepy.” She added that she’s adjusting to a more routine. Jung Yong Hwa joked, “Sounds like a Marine Corps schedule,” which made everyone laugh.

Suhyun also mentioned that living with Chanhyuk has expanded her musical tastes. While she used to listen mostly to J-pop, she now enjoys a wider variety of genres. “When I’m listening with my brother, we also play bossa nova, classical music, and jazz,” she said, noting her broadened musical spectrum.

When Jung Yong Hwa brought up Suhyun’s love for anime, she replied playfully, “That’s true. Just like my brother’s eyes on stage,” sparking laughter and a warm atmosphere on set.
