South Korean film director Bong Joon Ho keeps his promise to provide live commentary following Tottenham Hotspur’s advancement to the UEFA Europa League final, the team of star player Son Heung Min.
On Monday, YouTube channel Dalsu Live announced that Bong Joon Ho and comedian Kim Shin Young will co-host a live commentary stream for the 2024–2025 Europa League final between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, which will be held in Spain on Thursday.

During his guest appearance on Dalsu Live on March 14, Bong Joon Ho promised, “If Son Heung Min’s team Tottenham advances to the Europa League final, I’ll come back and do live commentary.”
Well-known as a passionate football fan, Bong shared his deep admiration for Son Heung Min during a broadcast with commentator Park Moon Sung and columnist Kim Hyun Min, where he pledged.
