As soon as he met Tom Cruise, Jin asked, “Do you know BTS?” When Cruise replied, “Yes, I know BTS,” Jin couldn’t hide his excitement. He then cheerfully exclaimed, “Hey, BTS members! Tom Cruise says he knows us!” lighting up the atmosphere on set.

Tom Cruise expressed sincere admiration, saying everything BTS and Jin have accomplished is truly incredible and that he was happy to be there with Jin. Mentioning that it was his 12th visit to South Korea, Cruise also showed his fondness for the country.

Cruise said that Korean people are always incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming, and that Korean food is absolutely delicious. His favorite Korean dish is barbecue chicken.

In response, Jin recommended mulhoe, a spicy, cold raw fish soup, describing it as flavorful and exciting. Cruise promised to try it, and the conversation between them continued warmly and friendly.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise promotes Mission: Impossible 8 in South Korea.

The film, which premiered in Korea on May 17, is an action blockbuster that follows Ethan Hunt (played by Cruise) and his IMF team as they risk their lives on a critical, high-stakes mission amid a dire crisis threatening all of humanity.
