Singer and actor Park Yoo Chun caught fans’ attention this week by sharing a rare personal update on social media.

On Thursday, the 39-year-old artist posted a brief message reading “Good morning,” accompanied by a photo of himself in an ivory hoodie. Despite much of his face being obscured by the hood, Park Yoo Chun’s youthful appearance and clear skin stood out, especially notable as he appeared without makeup.

Fans responded warmly in the comments, with messages such as “You look great,” “So happy to see your face,” and “Please show yourself more often,” showing continued interest in his activities.

Past Drug Controversy and Attempted Comeback

Park Yoo Chun’s public image has been marred by controversy in recent years. In 2019, he was charged with methamphetamine use and later sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years.

When the allegations first surfaced, Park Yoo Chun held a press conference and firmly denied the claims, stating, “I have never used drugs. If I did, I would retire from the entertainment industry.” However, the charges were later confirmed, sparking widespread backlash.

Following the incident, Park Yoo Chun issued a public apology and announced his retirement from the entertainment world. He later reversed that decision and has since made efforts to return to the spotlight.

In December 2023, Park Yoo Chun was named on the South Korean National Tax Service’s list of high-value and habitual tax delinquents. He reportedly failed to pay approximately 409 million won (around $296,300) in taxes, including capital gains tax, across five separate cases dating back to 2016.
