Kim Woo Bin shows loyalty through his appearance on Hong Seok Cheon’s Jewelry Box
South Korean actor Kim Woo Bin made a surprise appearance on the YouTube show Jewelry Box, hosted by Hong Seok Cheon, drawing significant attention.
In the episode released Tuesday afternoon, Kim Woo Bin impressed hosts Hong Seok Cheon and Kim Ddol Ddol with his striking visuals.
When asked by Hong Seok Cheon how he felt about appearing on the show, Kim Woo Bin responded humorously, saying, “I was a bit surprised. They told me to hide behind this pillar before coming on, but the pillar was so narrow I had to stand sideways.” His comment set off laughter on set.
He then added sincerely, “Just kidding. It’s fascinating to be in a space I’ve only seen in videos. It’s also great to see Seok Cheon again after a long time.”
A Promise Kept Through Loyalty
Later in the show, Hong Seok Cheon shared a special story behind Kim Woo Bin’s appearance.
Pointing to Kim Woo Bin, he said, “He made a promise a while back that he would come on the show one day. He said he’d consider appearing, and now he’s kept that promise.”
“There’s nothing he’s promoting right now, no new projects—so isn’t that just incredibly cool?” he added, expressing his gratitude.
Kim Ddol Ddol also chimed in, repeatedly praising Kim Woo Bin’s loyalty, saying, “That’s real loyalty.”
Even without any promotional agenda, Kim Woo Bin’s decision to appear simply to honor a past promise left a strong impression on viewers.
