Everyone Thinks This Guy Is Lee Si Young’s Ex… But He’s Not Even Married

Lee Si Young recently shared a funny and relatable story about how her divorce unintentionally led to a close friend being mistaken for a newly single man.

During her appearance on the YouTube channel Zzanbro this past Monday, Lee Si Young opened up about the amusing misunderstanding involving a man who frequently appears in her videos, and who just so happens to wear glasses.

When host Jeong Ho Cheol mentioned that many viewers confuse the bespectacled man from her TikTok videos with her ex-husband, Lee Si Young laughed and said, “It’s true! So many people think that. The funny part is, I just got divorced, but they assume I divorced that friend!”

Lee Si Young explained that the man in question is actually the CEO of a production company. Since news of her divorce became public, he’s found himself in awkward situations where people ask if he’s okay, assuming he’s her ex-husband.

“He told me, ‘I’ve never even been married, but now I’m suddenly a divorced guy,'” Lee Si Young shared. “He works with other celebrities too, but because my channel is doing well, people just assume he only collaborates with me.”

Lee Si Young also shared how this misunderstanding has impacted her friend. “As a CEO, he’s been getting a lot of sympathy, and people are tiptoeing around him, which he finds a little frustrating,” she said. “He told me, ‘We need to step up our game. People think our channel is over!” This statement had the studio bursting into laughter.

Shin Dong Yup joked, “If you two keep filming together, people might start thinking, Wow, what a professional business couple! They’re total pros!” Lee Si Young responded with a smile, “That’s why we’re working even harder to keep up the consistency.”

Lee Si Young married a restaurateur nine years her senior in 2017, but the couple divorced this past March. She is now raising their 7-year-old son on her own.
