‘Squid Game’ Season 3 Tops Netflix Charts in 93 Countries

Squid Game has once again proven its global dominance, with its third season securing the number one spot in 93 countries worldwide.

According to FlixPatrol, Squid Game Season 3 shot to the top of Netflix’s TV show charts just two days after its global release on Friday, underscoring its overwhelming and swift success worldwide.

Squid Game Season 3 claimed the number-one spot in 93 countries, including South Korea (where FlixPatrol provides Netflix rankings), the U.S., the U.K., France, Germany, Australia, Brazil, and Japan.

FlixPatrol’s ranking system awards points based on the show’s position in each country. Squid Game Season 3 earned a perfect score of 930 points, with the full 10 points for topping the charts in every country it reached number one in.

Season 3 picks up with Gi Hun (played by Lee Jung Jae), who returns to the deadly games with his own agenda, only to lose his closest friend in the process. The season also features the enigmatic Frontman (played by Lee Byung Hun), who infiltrates the game incognito and explores the ultimate fates of the survivors of the brutal competition.

This six-episode season serves as the grand finale to the series, following Season 1 (released in 2021) and Season 2 (released in 2024).

All episodes of the Squid Game series are available for streaming on Netflix, offering fans around the world the chance to binge-watch the entire saga.
