Sarah Lim Views

An active-duty soldier has captured attention by revealing the meals served at his military unit.

On May 22, a post titled “I Want to Report Our Unit’s Meals, Which Are Better Than Any Other Unit’s” appeared on the Facebook page Delivering Instead of Army Training Center.

The poster introduced himself as an active-duty soldier serving in the 6th Division.

He added, “I always thought the meals at our unit were delicious, but recently, our new food service officer has been plating them so beautifully.”

“I wanted to brag about our meals, which are like special meals every day, so I reported it,” he explained.

The photos he posted contained images of the meals provided at his unit.

The menu selections shown in the photos, such as rice bowls, black bean sauce noodles, fried rice, toast, rice balls, chicken legs, and egg toast, were all filled with care and attention.

The meals were also completed with various desserts, including curly fries, yogurt, ice cream, and chocolate milk.

The poster revealed the meals and expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you to the chefs and culinary specialists of the 6th Division Signal Battalion, who work hard and quietly in the background to create delicious food.”
