Michael Mosley, the creator of the Fast 800 diet, was found dead.

On June 9, foreign media outlets such as Reuters reported that Michael Mosley (67), the author of The Fast 800, was found dead after going missing during his vacation in Greece.

Reuters revealed, “Mosley has been found dead in a rocky area of Symi, days after he disappeared during a walk on the Greek island.”

The Greek island of Symi is a popular vacation spot in the eastern Mediterranean, in the Aegean Sea near Turkey.

Mosley was last seen walking on the beach of Agios Nikolaos around 1:30 p.m. on September 5 after leaving for a vacation on Symi.

When Dr. Clare Bailey could not contact her husband, she reported him missing, which prompted an investigation.

It was reported that Mosley was visiting Symi for a break with his wife and four children.

The Greek authorities launched a large-scale search operation, mobilizing police, firefighters, and volunteers. They deployed police dogs and drones in difficult-to-access areas.

A police official stated, “It appears he died a few days ago.” The police suspect that Mosley died from a fall, and they are still determining the exact circumstances of the incident.

Mosley is well-known as a host of programs such as the BBC’s Trust Me, I’m a Doctor, The One Show, and ITV’s This Morning.

He also won an Emmy for the BBC science documentary The Human Face.
