
The Gwangju Western Police Station in South Korea has requested an arrest warrant for a man in his 60s, accused of violating narcotics laws.
According to authorities, the man is accused of secretly drugging a woman in her 50s, who owns a bar in Gwangju’s Seo-gu district, by lacing her drink with methamphetamine on the morning of November 7, 2024.
After consuming the drink, the woman reportedly began feeling strange symptoms and sought medical attention, leading to the discovery of the crime.
The investigation revealed that the man has a criminal history related to similar offenses. Based on this information, police have applied for an arrest warrant, and a warrant review is set for Monday afternoon.
