On Friday, G-Dragon shared a heartfelt message through his agency, Galaxy Corporation, expressing his sympathy for those affected by the wildfires. “My heart goes out to everyone who has lost their homes in this devastating disaster. I truly hope for their quick recovery,” he said.

“I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the firefighters, first responders, and volunteers working tirelessly on the frontlines and in the affected areas,” he added.

G-Dragon’s Ongoing Commitment to Philanthropy

Known for his long-standing charitable efforts, G-Dragon continues to make a meaningful impact through his work and foundation.

The JusPeace Foundation, established on August 8, 2024, promotes mental health and global peace. The foundation will also play an active role in the wildfire relief efforts.

The foundation is teaming up with Hong Beom Seok, a former firefighter and runner-up of Netflix’s Physical: 100 Season 2, to assess the situation on the ground and provide targeted support to those working in the affected areas.

G-Dragon’s donation is expected to significantly aid the recovery efforts in Gyeongsang-do and Ulsan. His decision to donate proceeds from his concerts has been widely praised by both his fans and the public.

G-Dragon’s charitable activities go far beyond a one-time donation, showcasing his ongoing commitment to social responsibility. Through his foundation, he continues to make a lasting impact on global communities.

Industry experts believe G-Dragon will continue to balance his successful music career with meaningful social initiatives.
