The Military Human Rights Center reported that the presidential plane, also known as Air Force One, took off from Seongnam Seoul Airport in South Korea on Tuesday morning.

In an urgent press release issued Tuesday, the Military Human Rights Center stated, “Air Force One has taken off from Seoul Airport.”

According to the Center, the presidential plane was confirmed to have left Seoul Airport around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Under normal procedures, the plane would undergo routine maintenance by the Air Force’s 35th Fighter Wing before takeoff, and the flight plan would be communicated to air traffic control.

However, the Military Human Rights Center noted that, in this case, the presidential plane did not undergo the usual maintenance before departure, nor was the flight plan relayed to air traffic control. As of now, the plane’s destination remains unknown.

The Center also clarified that while it is true the presidential plane took off, they have confirmed that South Korean President Yoon Seok Yeol was not on board at the time.
