South Korean Couple’s Deadly Dispute at a Bangkok Hotel

A violent incident involving a Korean man and woman wielding weapons at each other occurred at a hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

According to an exclusive report by YTN on June 4, the incident occurred on a public holiday in Thailand on June 3 around 6 PM in downtown Bangkok.

This hotel is a popular destination for Korean tourists as it is located in Bangkok’s “Koreatown.”

A Korean man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s were staying at the hotel together and were suspected of wielding weapons at each other after a dispute.

Several ambulances were dispatched to the scene due to the incident.

The man had wounds from a weapon on his arms and body, while the woman had similar injuries on her face and body.

An eyewitness at the scene explained the incident, saying, “I asked the counter, and they said a Korean man and woman got into a knife fight and are now in critical condition.”

They also mentioned that the injuries of both individuals seemed severe.

A hotel official said, “I heard the incident happened inside a hotel room,” and added, “Everything is returning to normal now.”

The Korean Embassy in Thailand also confirmed that they received a report about a violent incident involving their citizens.

The exact circumstances of the incident have not been revealed to the public yet. Local authorities are currently investigating the details of the incident.
