Brandi Glanville, a well-known model and reality TV star, recently made headlines with a startling update on her health, claiming that a parasite severely impacted her facial appearance.

People magazine reported on Saturday that Glanville shared a distressing update on social media about her ongoing health struggles, posting images of her visibly uneven skin. In the photos, one side of her face appears noticeably swollen and red, giving it an unnatural and alarming appearance.

Glanville believes a parasite causes her skin issues. She described a disturbing sensation in her face, saying she could feel something moving underneath her skin, which she likened to tiny bubbles popping.

However, experts have offered a different perspective. According to medical professionals, “The issue isn’t due to a parasite or food but is likely a reaction to dermal filler injections.”

Last October, Glanville reportedly fainted after her face suddenly swelled up, and she was rushed to the hospital. Since that incident, she has continued to experience similar symptoms periodically.

Determined to find answers, Glanville visited multiple hospitals, spending over $70,000 in search of a diagnosis, but the exact cause of her condition remains unclear.

In a candid post, Glanville expressed her frustration, saying, “Some doctors told me there’s a parasite moving around my face, while others said it’s just stress-induced swelling.”

Glanville’s health struggle has garnered significant attention across the U.S. After hearing about her case on social media, plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow offered his medical opinion.

Dr. Dubrow stated, “This appears to be a reaction to filler injections or possibly an infection.” He went on to describe Glanville’s condition as a ticking time bomb, emphasizing the need for immediate surgical intervention to prevent further damage.

Since receiving Dr. Dubrow’s diagnosis, Glanville has been in close contact with him and decided to have all of the facial fillers removed as part of her treatment plan.

Recently, she posted an update on her social media, showing signs of improvement in her facial condition. Glanville shared that she has been consulting with top specialists and plans to continue with her medical follow-ups. She also expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support from her fans and followers during this difficult time.
