Elon Musk is facing sensational new allegations that he secretly fathered a child with a well-known Japanese pop star, according to claims made by conservative writer and former girlfriend Ashley St. Clair.

The New York Times broke the story on Friday, publishing details from an exclusive interview with St. Clair. She revealed that in February of this year, she gave birth to Musk’s son, whom the pair named Romulus.

In the interview, St. Clair claimed that Musk has fathered children with multiple women around the world—including, allegedly, a child with the unnamed Japanese pop sensation. The Times did not disclose further details, such as the identity of the pop star or the child’s birth date or gender.

Musk’s Pro-Natalist Beliefs and Drug Use Allegations

St. Clair also shed light on Musk’s self-proclaimed pro-natalist philosophy. According to her, Musk expressed a willingness to donate sperm to anyone who wanted to have a child. “He portrayed it as pure altruism,” she said. “He genuinely seemed to believe these people should procreate.”

He is currently known to have fathered 14 children: six with his first wife, Justine Wilson; three with pop artist Grimes; four with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis; and one with St. Clair.

Musk has long warned about the dangers of population decline, frequently stating that a collapsing birth rate is one of the biggest threats to human civilization.

The New York Times report also raised serious questions about Musk’s alleged drug use. It claimed that during the 2022 U.S. presidential election cycle, Musk used significant amounts of ketamine and MDMA (commonly known as ecstasy).

Musk fired back on X (formerly Twitter), calling the allegations “total BS.” He reportedly acknowledged that he had previously been prescribed ketamine—a detail he had publicly shared before—and said it had helped him through a difficult period. However, he claimed he no longer uses it.
