Popular travel YouTuber Panibottle, who lost 10 kilograms using the obesity medication Wegovy, has issued a warning about its side effects.
On Monday, Panibottle posted on Instagram, “I’m writing this carefully out of concern. Although I may seem like a Wegovy ambassador, I have no affiliation with the company and have never promoted the product.”
He added, “Advertising laws related to medical products are extremely strict. A single misstep can lead to serious consequences.”

Panibottle also warned of side effects he personally experienced while taking Wegovy.
“Recently, many people around me who have taken Wegovy have reported side effects,” he said. “Symptoms include lethargy, nausea, and depression.”
He further shared, “I’m also still experiencing persistent nausea. I strongly advise that anyone considering this medication consult thoroughly with a doctor before proceeding.”
Back in January, Panibottle posted on his Instagram story, “I thought I had a body type that gained weight even with small meals, but it turns out I was just eating a lot,” revealing that he had begun a Wegovy prescription.
After losing 10 kilograms and showing a visibly transformed appearance, interest in the Wegovy diet surged online. In response, Panibottle clarified that his mention of the drug was not intended as promotion and emphasized the potential side effects.
Wegovy, which was released in South Korea in October of last year and dubbed a miracle weight-loss drug, is prescribed to patients with a BMI over 30 or to overweight patients with comorbidities such as high blood sugar or hypertension.
However, the drug has been associated with various side effects, including abdominal pain, nausea, indigestion, and fatigue. Concerns continue to be raised about the risks associated with long-term use.
