Apple may be planning to relocate the Apple logo to the back of its upcoming iPhone 17 Pro series, which is expected to launch in the fall of 2025.
9to5Mac reported this possibility, citing well-known tech tipster Majin Bu.

According to Majin Bu, Apple is considering moving the logo from its traditional central position to a new spot directly below the rear camera bar at the center of the device. He explained that this design shift is intended to enhance product recognition. He also noted that some case manufacturers are already testing products that reflect the potential new logo placement.
First logo redesign in five years?
The last time Apple changed the logo position on an iPhone was with the iPhone 11 series in 2019.
Since then, Apple has consistently placed the logo at the center of the back panel for about five years. If implemented, the change would mark a significant update in the iPhone’s design.
9to5Mac analyzed that the growing width of the rear camera module, which may now span the full width of the device, could necessitate this logo relocation. However, the media outlet expressed caution, saying the leaked design looks a bit odd.
The outlet concluded that whether this design change will be incorporated into the final product remains to be seen.
The iPhone 17 series is expected to be unveiled this fall, with various design and feature enhancements anticipated beyond the possible logo repositioning.
